Hi all, just wondering if any of you have digital photo mag subscriptions? And if so, which do you like and not like and why? I don't have any, but I haven't been buying any physical mags and now have the itch to get a couple for my iPad.

Thank you for all responses.

I currently get photolife and Photographer's I

Photolife is pretty much just a PDF copy of the print version, so no special multimedia. Photographer's I, on the other hand is very interactive, with videos and slide shows, and voice over content.

Cool - thanks for the tip about Photolife - my wife got me a subscription but I didn't know they had a digital version. I just googled it and I will need to wait until my next one arrives to get the code off of my mailing label.

I have a subscription to Outdoor Photographer plus you can add any mags that you happen to find in PDF format to the iPad.

On the art photography side of things, BJP (British Journal of Photography) has a stunning iPad magazine that is definitely not a PDF version of the (also very good) print mag.

Zinio also has a good selection of online magazines including Shutterbug and, I think, Amateur Photographer (UK).

Problem with iPad versions is you can't get the files if a mag would normally come with the CD...so if you wanted the disc you'd have to buy the magazine a second time.

I actually use the descriptions of issues to make the decision if it worth a trip to the store.

I love flipboard for my ipad. I subscribe to RSS photography feeds and it has a built in photography section which is worth noting.
