I don't even see the 500ws monolight they're selling, only the 600ws one and the photo is of a 300ws monolight?? Is this the one?

http://www.gtaphotostudio.com/Studio-Ki ... p_119.html

Anyways, a 600ws bulb on ebay is $40 with shipping:

So, I guess you can get them, but that doesn't look like a user-replaceable bulb... so I guess you're right, need to find something that has user-replaceable bulbs in the long run.

Are you sure this is the right flash tube for this strobe? This is a wire connector. Some have pin connectors. Some are 3 pin connectors. I didn't say I was going to get the strobe from gtasphotostudio.com What I was trying to say was that a North American supplier such as Vistek would carry the tubes for their brand name strobes. gtaphotostudio doesn't carry brand name strobes.

No, I don't know if that's the right tube for that strobe, I was just saying that the tubes for ebay strobes *are* available... or at least they seem to be, if that's the right tube, but don't look like they are user-replaceable because they look soldered in not just a socket.
