I kid, I kid. Nikon isn't crazy, they made the mistake of releasing the D700 and screwing the sales on the D3, they seem fairly direct and methodical with these lines of bodies. I'm sure the differences between the 3, 5, 7 and 800 series lines will justify the costs.

I would agree - depending on how it specs out. Hopefully you can get more than 50,000 clicks out of it.


the specs for the older 3100 is 100,000. so the 3200 could only be same or better.

Sounds like a good second camera. I was debating about getting a lens extender for my ff or getting a cropped sensor for the zoom factor. It'll probably give me better performance than an extender for something that I will use only on occasion - like for a bird picture.
