I have the X100 and would love to have a M-mount digicam.

Eh. It's too old. I'd rather have the X100 and just keep shooting M-mount film.

You are right! Since the RD1 is cropped anyway might as well use a newer 4/3 or APS-C based camera! Thanks for the reminder :-)

the RD-1 is an awesome camera gone wrong.

I tried figuring it out without the manual.....probably the most difficult camera to figure out.....dumb menu system, dumb analog indicators to change settings like JPEG compression...etc.

What's horrific is you still have to advance the "film" LOL

I think the "speedometer" and "film lever" are cool :-)

But yes, the sensor is way way way too old.
