Well, there are lots of skilled photographers here...but never enough gear.

So, here is a contest: http://www.pocketwizard.com/inspirations/contests/

If I had the PWs I would not need to join the contest...
Just sayin'... :D

yeah too bad. Pocketwizards are great but so pricey and the end product doesn't reflect what triggers you used, just that they worked.

If I take a picture of a PocketWizard, that wouldn't be possible without a PocketWizard.

Catch-22!

Yeah, I don't think they would have any idea. It's not really specific to the new ones that synch at faster shutter speeds; so really, you can use any method to trigger the off camera flash lol. Maybe it's geared towards users of the older model who are looking to upgrade.

I don't even think it's possible. what's the feature that ONLY a pocketwizard has? range, maybe?

Hahah it would have to be some sort of demented circumstance. I was shooting at a 300ft distance, in the sun, with over a dozen other photographers using PW's around me. Even then, you can probably make do with some of the latest non PW triggers.

just any off camera flash will do so they can use it in promo ads saying this shot was taken by PWs.

But why limit the prize to Nikon or Canon users? You would think PW can afford to offer up a Sony, etc. prize too if necessary.

Do any of their triggers/receivers work on anything other than a Canon/Nikon?
