Hello All
I am in the market for a new super zoom camera....
Was initially thinking of a Canon G series because of its compact size ..but
I got convinced to get a super zoom camera...because of its zoom and macro features....I own an SLR ..this is surely not to replace it by any means ...
Like the fact of a 500mm lens, I do understand the quality comparison is worse than an SLR.

If you guys have experience with these cameras, Please feel free to through ur inputs..

Currently looking at these two (leaning more towards with Sony :P )

I like the fact that when CHKDSK firmware becomes available for a particular canon p/s camera, it opens up a new world of photo possibilities.

Panasonic for sure!

Don't get the Canon SX40. Small LCD screen, bad viewfinder.

I never liked the Sony menu system and the ergonomics of their cameras.

+1 on Panasonic.

before i purchase my first DSLR, i was using a Panasonic FZ3. i've enlarged photos from that camera up to 2ft.x 3ft. with clarity.
