Looks interesting - I like the BosTail that the Bosstrap attaches to - it keeps the tripod mount free and there is no fear that the tripod mounted portion will come unscrewed and drop your camera on the pavement

http://www.bosstrap.com/

Anyone have one or have any comments on it?

One observation, entire weight of camera being supported by a little piece of metal wire.

Which vendor (or brand) did you use (or buy)? Is the overall length adjustable?

Same observation as ronimbo.
Is that connection piece on the side of the camera strong enough to hold it with a heavy lens attached?

For those of you that use the tripod screw mount, how do you ensure that the screw will not come loose?
Just tighten it every once in a while?

Yup, i always tighten it good when putting it on, and then i always check it once in a while, but since the mount swivels, it's never a problem.
