Good day to you all!

When I was out shooting some waterfalls a few weeks ago, I was getting frustrated with my Manfrotto 460MG 3D head that I currently have. I'm finding that it's not really as accurate as I'd like it to be and I've been throwing around the idea of investing in a proper, medium duty, ball head. I've been considering the Giottos ones and more specifically their MH-1301 series heads which hold up to 10 kg (22 lbs) and I think is more than adequate for the type of shooting I do and lenses I use; my tripod legs are the Manfrotto 190XB.

Anybody in the forum have any experience with the Giottos heads or have any alternatives around a similar price point they would recommend?

As always, your opinion is valued and any other suggestions for heads would be greatly appreciated!

Your choice of Arca Swiss ballheads is very limited if you plan to purchase it from a bricks and mortar store in Toronto. The only place with a limited selection is Vistek. On the Internet you have everything available. Buying sight unseen is not something like I to do, especially with photographic equipment. What may have a fantastic review might not behave the way you prefer, and if something seems to be a minor irritant at the beginnng may eventually become unbearable as time rolls in.
