Not sure if this has already been posted - I've been waiting for sometime for this to be announced.

Pair this with a Panasonic Leica 25mm 1.4 pancake and you might have a drool-worthy compact system

It seems that the CDAF focusing is now blindingly fast, by comparison to the older u4/3 bodies, but only with the more recent CDAF enabled lenses. It won't be replacing my E-5, any time soon, for motorsports work.

A hurdle jumped on the way to a pro u43 mirrorless camera body.

Can't say about the supposed upgrade to dynamic range (which would be very welcome) as we need more tests/reviews to evaluate but it does seem that the new Pens still fall short on High ISO compared to the Panasonic GH2 and specially G3.
dpreview and imaging resource have samples up though only jpeg. Would need to wait for RAW files to show up but as it stands, the G3 definitely seem to be still better at high ISO from ISO 1600 and up. GH2 better from ISO 3200 and up (and depends at 1600). Though some are saying that at base ISO the Pens may have an advantage.

I think that we'll find, with an accessory grip available, that the E-P3 is the pro u4/3 body.

Might not be in the cards for some time, if at all. The current lenses don't have weather sealing so, even if the camera was sealed, there'd be nothing to put on it. OK, maybe things like the 14-54 MkII with an adapter, but that sort of defeats the purpose.

I believe Olympus did say pro u43 lens' were in the works. But I am not holding my breath. For digital my EPL-1 system will do me for a couple of years anyway, see what happens then. But this EP-3 looks good for people wanting to see where the PEN is going on the near term.
