Looking for something like this but local and for a better price considering what it is. Specifically, this is to connect Pocketwizard IIs to flashes that don't have pc ports - the Nikon SB600 and Canon 420EX for example. Any thoughts on where to find em?

I bought one at Henry's a while ago. If you can't find them here at Vistek or Henrys, you should be able to find them on ebay or http://flashzebra.com (yeah, defeats the whole local thing).

I highly recommend ones with a screw tension base like this

http://flashzebra.com/hotshoes-shoes/0064.shtml (for mounting on a camera or plastic feet that holds the flash)

and if you can find, on the very bottom it has a standard 3/8 female socket so you can mount these on light stands. Man I got a bunch of these from ebay a while back I think with oeccamera? for very cheap.
