Hah ahh don't go to Vistek downtown store then... cause they have all 3 systems there

Believe me, I congratulated myself when I walked out of there since I didn't buy it yet.

Still going to go Spider though

D, let us know how that Q-strap is cause for $20, that's decent enough

So the Q-Strap came in this morning. Here's my 5 minute without a actually attaching it to a camera review.

The good part: It seemed fairly well made, the strap itself feels sturdy and utilitarian, not as nice as the strap on my Crumpler camera strap but okay. I was pleasantly surprised by the connector part (the thing on the strap that slides). It appears better made than I expected. It's double stitched where it goes into the shoulder harness which should bode well.

Now the bad part: There's the adjustable plastic slide part. It looks like a rectangle with a plastic bar in the middle. Within minutes of me tugging on the strap to try to make it longer, the plastic bar snapped and flew across the room. Granted the plastic was cold but not exactly a stellar start to the strap. I'm going to email the seller with pic's and see what they say. I could go down to MEC and pick up a replacement slide and may end up making a frankenstrap with the other parts from the Q-Strap but we'll see.

Does anyone else on tpmg have the double R-Strap? Can they confirm how many bumpers it has? From the website, it looks like it's actually supposed to be four, but mine has only two. Trying to determine if this is a QA flaw in mine, or if they revised the design going from two to four after I bought mine.

Edit: emailed the black rapid rep from then Henry's show that I spoke to this weekend. He had demonstrated some ways to rearrange the typical strap for certain applications, and in an effort to apply them, discovered the missing bumpers. He responded by letting me know two bumpers will be in the mail. 2 points for BR customer service.
