Hi,

I need an external flash for a D5000 to take wedding photos in an dimmed scene. I dont know what to get and which brand and model has the best adaptivity to the body.

I could use photography tips for night and wedding scenes too.

any of the Nikon speedlights should work with your model.

For weddings? You might need one of the more powerful ones like the SB800, 900, 700. The extra battery ability comes in handy too.

If you plan on shooting weddings I hope you know what your doing because it doesn't sound like it. You should know these things before you make tge decision to become a wedding photographer
