hello. does anyone here on TPMG have this specific lens? what can you say about it? sweet spot still 2 stops? any advice is much appreciated.

I have one, will be posting it for sale shortly On the forum, FYI. Like all lens, it depends on the copy. I generally use mine wide open @ f4 with sharp results, never felt the need to go to 5.6. The focus on my 5D body is bang on, and dispite the lack of USM, it has no trouble tracking my son playing at the beach when on servo. It's very light, and compact, once your used to the push pull action it's a great lens.

Only reason why I want to get rid of it is I upgraded to a 2.8 L.

I was putting together the for sale thread before bed last night so I have some sample pics handy, mostl beach pics. I'll post em up here in this thread once I'm home from work this afternoon.
