Anyone use these?

I'm thinking of picking them up as slaves.

I have the PovertyWizard RF601 triggers, do I need new set or is there something better now? I've been out of the photography lighting loop for 3 years now.

yongnuo is a manufacturer. i assume you are talking about their radio flash triggers?

I have a set and it's reliable and has long range and totally worth the price. Oddly enough it has the same model number as your poverty wizard

I hear they are very cheap, and a great bargain for off-camera manual lighting. There's a variety of different models, and it can get confusing, but I found this site to be useful for comparison/review of some of the Yongnuo flashes: http://speedlights.net/compare-speedlight-specs/

I haven't had time to order them yet.

I will be eventually. I've seen them in person and they're pretty impressive for its price.

nope, if you use the 2 mode optical slave on the 560s you don't need the 602's, however bear in mind none of those flashes do wireless ETTL, you will be using them in manual mode only. If you want 100% reliability then better get the triggers, but the optical mode seems to be very good on 560's as far as I understood. I am probably going to order two as well as one more receiver myself

I'd probably stick to their e-bay store, I've had some encounters with other chinese sellers and they were a bit bitter, some send you alternative manufacturer similar/exactly same products. I'd rather pay a buck more for the peace of mind and 1 year warranty

I've been looking at picking up a SB-600 for some remote flash fun for sometime with my SB-800 and thought at $85 I'd give the 560 a try. Just ordered and won't probably get it until after Christmas and I'll report back once I've had a chance to play with it.

i ordered directly for (2x) YN-560 + (3x) RF-602 Rx + (1x) RF-602 Tx = $213 shipped to Toronto. we'll see how long it'll take to get here.
