I was at the Nikon Service Center in Mississaugga. In the lobby they have a little display case with lens, dSLR and P&S for sale. Prices are (my guess) about 10-15% off new. And for the lenses, comes with a 6 months warranty.

Some of the items on sale have been discontinued for more than a year.

Any one here have experience buying refurbs from the Nikon Service Center? Any ideas where these refurbs come from? (I asked. The lady said they come from "everywhere".)

can someone condense the posts into a couple of sentences for those who don't want to register and join ?

re: mississauga stuff, the selection is not what it used to be and has slimmed down over time. Used to be lots of bodies and lenses for sale.
