Hi,

I need this info for my nephew.
He needs to know if the lens can be use in both manual aperture control and automatic?

http://www.okazii.ro/catalog/44087029/OBIECTIV-CANON-FD-35mm-3-5-SC-CU-AMBELE-CAPACE-ORIGINALE.html#galerie

The lens is Canon FD 35 mm SC

If you know, please let me know.

Thank you,
So

FD mount is Canon's old film mount back in the day. Not sure what body you want to mount this on though..

If you want to mount this on a EOS body, you can via an ebay adapter. However, you lose infinity focus with adapters without glass. You keep infinity focus with adapters with glass but you lose a lot of quality and sharpness. Barely useable, it's a waste of the lens.

The lens supports both manual and automatic aperture. Setting the aperture to "A" as you can see from the pictures makes it auto.
