interesting how the word 'abandoned' never shows up in anything that Dr. Kaufman said but was rather put into quotes in the title of the article...

truth of the matter is that Leica Camera has stopped producing M film bodies, but have sufficient bodies produced to fulfill future demand.

More interesting then the typical news type title is the fact that they stopped producing in 2009 and the final decision was announced just now.
