Well whatever they call it, I hope Nikon makes an announcement at Photokina so I can sell my Canon gear.

which canon do you use?
is it 5dmkII??

if so, how the HECK do you deal with the focus???

I sold my d700 and went to 5D2 for a bit just to try the Video.
I gotta say, 85L II and 24L II with video, looked amazing.
BUT, picture wise, street photography in the evening. I never seen so much hunting before.

I'd honestly, only be interested in the d700 replacement if it had the D3s ISO.

I guess there is something to the 7D having a good AF system then.

still great, but MUCH better than 5D2.

ack, MF on these canon digi bodies have to be DEAD on :)
too much work :)

ya, I getcha.
Kinda a let down considering the $$ paid for such a high tech body that doesn't wanna focus...

Yes the 5D2 focus system is a little rough :) Center is fine, but the outer points aren't even cross point

Maybe they are all buying the D300s which is far superior.

Yes, well no... but yes!

I upgraded my D200 to the D300s... much better camera. The improvements are worth the upgrade, I don't think I'll be upgrading again for a long time. :)

I believe ISO 50 and 100 will be part of the "extendable" custom function.

Nikon cameras pretty much moved to the 200ISO as their starting point a couple years ago. I am not sure why. MY D80 still goes to 100 as base value and i'm pretty happy with that speed.
