funny ... but I guess it drives home the point for them to get it right. They really made a blunder on the 1D Mk III.

Hmm, I didn't know the 5DmkII was such a bad camera. But then I have never used one.

As no camera is perfect I think the mk4 offers a few features that make it a better choice for me than Nikon. The law of averages in hit or miss photos is fairly close between the mk4 and the D3s (when compared in a mix of environments). Then what your left with is bigger images and 30fps HD (without splitting hairs on smaller features). Is that enough? That depends on your shooting style and if your clients like your work or not.

It seems the public popularity pendulum swings once again. In time it will swing the other way. Canon still works for me but if the day comes where something is night and day better, I will switch.

The 5D2 is an awesome camera.
The only mistake Canon made with it was not updating the AF.

I rarely take pictures in lowlight so the slow AF hasn't bothered me too much.

I don't think it bothers anyone who knows how to use MF. Plus with USM lenses, it is pretty easy.
I'm sure the next generation will at least inherit the AF of the 7D or similar.

All Canon photographers should switch to Nikon!
