Brilliant!! I was confused by the previous 3 fireman shots and made the false assumption that it was a fireman performing some task that firefighters do.
That's amazing. How did you light that shot?

Thanks! She initially charged me one CUC (Cuban tourist) dollar after consenting to be photographed. I refused. I saw the cigar wasn't lit and then realised this was her job/profession. She loitered around tourist areas to be compensated for her photo. I didn't have any small bills but I did have a small tetra pack of rum that she was more than happy to accept. Love the barter system.

this guy looks like he wants to kill me but I think he was just uncomfortable. I'm not sure what he is doing in order to hoist himself to get to the window. But you know what they say, I think it goes something like 'People that live in straw houses shouldn't throw matches.'

Reena, a commercial model i shot in january...

Eating dinner at Mandarin in Brampton yesterday and we so happen to get a table in front the aquarium.

Had an interesting conversation with the scuba diver afterwards he was telling us he's a meterologist full time, he also has a degree in marine biology. Feeding and cleaning up the tank at Mandarin was part time job that helped get him through school, he does this for fun.

I could not resist this shot. This was taken at the Royal Botanical Gardens here in Burlington. What a gem that place is for photographers.

I think there's another thread for candid photos. The idea/spirit of this one was to "try to limit it to photographs of people who knew they were being photographed by you". I'll bite my tongue and not bring up the ethics of shooting homeless people with a telephoto lens.

What are the implications of shooting homeless people with a wide-angle lens up close?
