Now that the dollar is getting stronger can anyone recommend a few good online retailers? I'm looking for a few different lens and i'm having no luck on the used used market. I find Henrys, Vistek and most other canadian reatilers wildly over priced so i'm now considering buying new in the US.

+1 for B&H, and if you want to buy Canadian, go to thecamerastore.com. They're located somewhere in the west where there's no such thing as PST so you only pay 5% GST.

B&H is always cheaper though.

actually, even though B&H and other US places may be cheaper, after exchange and taxes, it is often cheaper still to purchase out of province.

Check out http://www.photoprice.ca/ to see how the different places compare.

There's quite a few New York Based photo stores that are good. Of course B&H is the cream of the crop, but once in a while Adorama, Cameta, and one more that I can't remember have a good price... But as previously mentioned, after exchange fees, shipping, duties, and other expenses sometimes you're breaking even (and without the option to quickly return it).

But more and more L glass is looking mighty tempting from B&H.
