Where do you buy your expired 120/220 slide/film? I check craigslist from time to time. I'm looking to buy locally.

... keep your ear to the ground, ask around your friends... check with camera shops too - sometimes they have stuff that's sitting in the fridge too long.

On a related note.

I have recently come into possession of 3.5 bricks of 4x5 poloroid colour, b&w and negative 4x5 colour and b&w film (velvia mostly) - all of it dates from 1997 and was kept in a dry, 'room temperature' place - generally undisturbed the whole time. Given that it wasn't in a fridge, how usable should i expect it to be?

The poloroid bricks are 20 shots each, still vacuum sealed btw.

The camera fairs usually have some expired film. I don't remember seeing anything good at the ones in Thornhill, but at the PHSC "Big One" fairs that take place at the Woodbridge soccer centre in May and October there's a fellow that always has a great selection.

Henry's Outlet is my usual choice when they get some, but that only happens occasionally.

The Thornhill camera fairs are the best place to get cheap 120/220.

RedFlagDeals! I bought some 35mm film from a seller who also had some 220 film that I couldn't use.

Thanks, guys... didn't get to reply sooner.

Adam: When does the Thornhill fair happen?

I got some from Shelley, btw. Great price too!

Eric, I'll look into RFD.

Jordan, October is not too far away, I shall check that out.

If you can hold out til October I know for a fact that there will be tons of expired 120 at the Woodbridge show.

Thanks, raydao. I bought some b/w 120s and lomo film at Urban Outfitters once. I'm always looking to buy and I'll keep my eyes open for the Woodbridge show.
