I was just watching TV the other day and I saw this T2i commercial about a mother getting a T2i and taking pictures of her kid at a hockey rink and I saw a caption of the lens she was using, it was texted as Canon EF 55mm 1.4 - anyone else see this?

Typo or preview of a new lens? :)

I noticed she was using a 70-200 f4 or f2 as well. doesn't sound like a casual family type of lens to me

it should be 58mm threads and a 50mm 1.4. All I saw in those commercials were 18-55 and a 70-200 F4

It never showed the lens as she faced away, I think the kid was in full hockey gear sitting down or something and the bottom showed in subtitle caption "Canon EF 55mm 1.4"

I rewound it a couple times on my PVR but it did not reveal the lens nor was I drinking at the time :)
