I have a Wein hot shoe adapter to protect my digital camera from the high trigger voltage of my old flash. The Wein adapter also has a PC connecter on the side. If I connect my new ring flash to the Wein hot shoe adapter and an old flash to the adapters PC terminal, is there any chance the high trigger voltage of the old flash doing damage to the new ring flash? I assume it is the same switch for both the hotshoe and the PC terminal on the flash adapter. I guess the other question is, in general is there any problem with firing two flashes off the same switch?
