Just a quick question. For the 430EX II for $295. How much would you estimate the final price, after shipping, to be.

what about GST&PST? Those should be payed anyways and Canada Post might decide to charge it (as it should) even though it doesn't always do it.

There's no GST/PST because the seller is not from Canada and the method of shipment is not through Canada Post. If I am the seller I will charge you taxes since I reside in Ontario, but I am not. We are dealing with an oversea supplier similar to Maxsaver's filter GB. :)

Do it Carlton. Not only will you be happy with a new flash, but you will make us other four buyers happy too.

What shipping method are you using?

Not trying to rain on the group buy but not using Canada Post doesn't stop you from paying PST/GST. Shipping to Canada by any method (Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, walking across the border) incurs a tax bill when you clear the package.

(The exception of course is a commercial import, where you avoid PST by supplying a business registration number, and you charge your customers to recoup the GST, which is a VAT.)

Other than that, the prices are great!

We still have a few days, let's see who else may be interested. You are not obligated to stay if you wish to purchase the items elsewhere.

I'm going to wait it out and if it doesn't happen, I'll probably get it from amazon. Their price on the bge6 is the next best I think.

Hi All, the order had been placed at 3:50pm today. I will post regularly to keep everyone in the loop on where the parcel is. My guesstimate arrival time is sometime next week.

Cheers~
Rick

Nah. You need to do a little more.

Draw some flames onto the hood of your 70-200 (saw it on POTN one time), and get some decals for the body:

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/SGP-Silver-Metal-Sticker-Film-for-Canon-EOS-5D-Mark-II_W0QQitemZ110440007062QQcmdZViewItemQQptZDigital_Camera_Accessories?hash=item19b6bcc596

(Not sure if they make 7d decals, but you can always pretend...)

And you're good to go.

The parcel has landed in Ontario and the mailman is out for delivery... o_o unfortunately i'm not home to sign the parcel today. I'd probably have to pick it up from their post office on Friday morning.

Would you guys be able to do a quick meet this Saturday or Sunday? Our usual GB pick up location is at Fairview Mall. Or you guys can pick it up where I live which is hwy 7 and thornhill wood drive. I want to do it in 1 shot to save time and gas money.
