In other press releases they said it came with the hood and lens case, in some other sites they say optional hood and no case. Go figure. The other mix up right now is with the 1D MKIV. Canon says it's a digital manual, everyone who's gotten the body says that they got the printed manual. Canon CS reps believe the manual is only in digital format but are willing to print out an 8.5x11 manual if requested. DUH? Someone needs to get their house in order me thinks.

At least the hood is shown in the specifications for the MrkII and it wasn't for the MrkI but the hood itself is an accessory for both.

Wait until it hits the stores, for now, it's all speculation.

The MTF charts show quite an improvement on the wide end.. well, one thing's for sure, the 4 stop IS will certainly be a worthwhile upgrade.

Hurry up and wait for those reviews I guess :x
