I am having a devil of a time logging on to SmugMug with Firefox. I can log on with IE with no problems. I've cleared my cache, made sure that Firefox accepts SmugMug cookies, disabled my add-ons, upgraded to the latest version of Firefox 3.0.11 - all to no avail. The very helpful folks at SmugMug are out of suggestions. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas of why this is happening?

Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm not fond of downloading beta versions of software. However I think they are coming out with the final version in the next week or so.

I heard it's coming out tomorrow
so the current RC is technically final (if the above statement is correct)

Firefox 3.5 is scheduled to be released at 5:00PM GMT (UK time), or make that 10PM here.

My favorite time of the day is when Antivir Avira updates my virus definitions.

Do you really think uploading this brand new version of Firefox is going to fix the problem? Do any of you frequent SmugMug and use Firefox (not the new version)? Somehow I don't think this is going to fix the problem. I'm just wondering if it's a setting I haven't thought of.

might be one of the security settings - even a new install might still keep the old security settings.

clear blocked sites, clear cookies, etc... under the privacy menu and sub-menus. Maybe you missed something there

Thanks Sushant - I went back and took a closer look and found the problem. Now I just have to figure out how to upload photos without crashing Firefox

Glad you found the problem, Elaine! :)

I'd been using previous versions of Firefox with SmugMug since I got an account there back in October, with no problems.
