Adobe has made their 10 year old version CS2 of Photoshop free software. But the download site has crashed so you will have to wait if you want a copy

crashed! too funny....... everyone is coming out of the woodwork for a freebee.... don't blame them. The only issue is RAW support will be old.

You have heard wrong! Adobe is absolutely not providing free copies of CS2!

Looks like another case of bloggers and reporters posting without fact checking.

It's available for free, but it's meant for existing customers.

"Effective December 13, Adobe disabled the activation server for CS2 products and Acrobat 7 because of a technical glitch. These products were released over 7 years ago and do not run on many modern operating systems. But to ensure that any customers activating those old versions can continue to use their software, we issued a serial number directly to those customers. While this might be interpreted as Adobe giving away software for free, we did it to help our customers."

Well, the installer does not work properly on Windows 7/8. So I guess it is just for 32-bit XP :)
