David duChemin is a photographer I follow. He's currently doing a series of
objects of beauty. This is basically product shots of stuff he likes. We've had moleskin notebooks, some fancy Scottish whisky, Blundstones and some other stuff. Today he posted a bag made by
Saddleback Leather. If you're into leather they appear to have some really really nice stuff, including a
Gadget Bag, which, according to the descriptions, holds gear well. They also have
Padded dividers which are good for gear according to the picture.
He also has a kickbutt, but sad,
dog story on his site that has me sold. Anyway, the point is this stuff looks very very nice and the price is comparable to the canvas bags other companies roll out charging a similar amount. I'm sharing if someone else cares and has expendable money for leather goods.
