I've been eyeing this product for a while - has anyone used it or have any comments about it? I've read reviews on it and watched all the videos on the website and it seems like a pretty good product.

I currently have a crumpler neck strap, which I love, but with my recent purchase of a 24-105 lens, I find that I hand hold the camera a lot and barely use the neck strap. I am considering changing over to a hand strap instead. Since I don't have a grip and don't plan on getting one, I will need a quick release plate that has the hand strap connector, which this one has, so this seems like a pretty good option.

I'm just a casual shooter, i.e weekends here and there and when I travel. But I think this would be useful when I travel and I bring my backpack since it can clip to the strap as opposed to hand holding it or putting it in my backpack.

Any thoughts on it - has anyone tried this one or something similar - pros and cons on having one of these?

much appreciated,
JC

That's a neat - and expensive - clip.

I have one of these:

You can even take your camera snowboarding. Just love this bag.

yeah, it's on the expensive side for just a clip, looks pretty cool though

hm.. top loader... I don't snowboard, but that's pretty handy to have if you do.
