Hi guys

I'm looking to get a ring mount for my 70-200mm lens. (since the non IS model does not come with it)
The oem from canon is just way over priced ~200$
Can anyone advise me on where I can find a something that is more cost effective.

Thanks :D

I bought one on ebay, it still hasn't arrived. I paid just under $10. You can have it for $5 when it arrives :)

I wont need it because I upgraded to a 70-200 f2.8 L, much better than standard F4

Oh, and I see you have a 17-40 L
Thats exact same lens kit I started with !

However, if you are shoting on crop, get this lens hood (original from 17-55 f2.8)

that's awesome
I do remember reading about bigger hood for this lens on crop body for better protection, I will definitely look into it (plus it makes the lens look that much better :))
But yea the lens is just fantastic... I recently got a polariser (havent played with it too much yet)

Thanks
