So my trusty Canon QL19 broke today after many good years of use. Got it for 2$ at. A garage sale. So I need a replacement, would like to step up since I'm pretty sure i like the formfactor. I would like to stick to fixed lens, the last thing I need is another lens collection. No more then $500ish.

Was thinking Yashica Electro GSN, any other suggestions?

Check out your local Goodwill. I have a contact on Flickr who has found some awesome stuff notably a Nikon S2 with lens!!!

Or you can check out the Konica Hexars.

Check out JapanCameraHunter.com Bellamy Hunt is a great guy! :-)

Good luck!

Nonetheless, you can always build up a Leica system. Barnaks can be had for around $300.

The Yashicas are great. A lot of different versions to be had. I bought a rare Yashica GX awhile back and I love it. I played with a Canon QL III and that was a good one. Olympus RC and Rollei 35 are popular too.

Thanks guys, found a really minty old Canon 7s range finder for a good price. The range finder needs to be calibrated, it's off. As long as I can find someplace to do an overhaul I may jump on it.

Any recommendations on rangefinder repair specialist?
