That's way too good to be true! Did the sellers have a lot of positive feedback?

With this kind of deal, I wouldn't think twice, just paypal or EMT this stranger and go meet him. If he's from Nigeria, be patient, the package will come.

Careful! Someone on Craigslist posted that there has been guys claiming to sell M8's and M9's who only take cash in some parking lot. Once you arrive the "seller" will kick your ass for the money and go.

Under $3000!!! That is the price of a M8.

If a deal sounds too good to be true, it's probably suspicious.

Can you get a Louis Vuitton bag for under $500?

As a typical male, I seriously don't know the answer to that question LOLOLOLOL.

And as for the "husband cheat on wife" sell off, a friend's father bought several high end speakers for basically the shipping costs, and they sell over $5000 new. The wife also threw in the speaker cables even though it was not part of the ebay listing, they were blue jeans speaker wire, heavy gauge. I was told that's a few hundred dollars in cables. lol

beware of the wifey.....

hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

That's the reason why I prefer meeting in a public place (that has people around). Also if a deal does go sour and the police is called, make sure you have written down the serial numbers for all the bills, that way you can prove the money was yours to begin with.

But yes, there have been stories lately about people buying a computer or a used iPhone in a parking lot and ending up with a box full of newspaper.

I can imagine a forum of con artists complaining about selling to TPMG members who come to buy a product and kick their asses and steal the con artists' money LOL

I got a reply from those ads and it's a scam. Claiming to be in UK, blah blah blah, same old story.

you should ask them if your Federal Law Enforcement Uncle can pick it up in person in the UK from them then.

They could have picked a better country.

UK or anywhere in Europe has higher prices for electronics than North America - so it doesn't make sense for someone to try to sell something here when they can get more money for it there in Europe...where they are supposed to be.
