I saw from the Henry Show some video light. They are rather inexpensive and seem to be pretty good for mundane jobs like family occasions.
Any input would be appreciated.
With high iso DSLR that should work well I believe

I've used the Rotolight, with an adapter that goes on the hotshoe:
http://www.rotolight.com/

I like them because they come with their own gels, which are stored in the battery compartment.

If they were the ones you saw on sale, it's because they are the older version...the new version is 25% brighter.

I just picked up one of these Yongnuo YN-160 LED Video Light http://www.amazon.com/Yongnuo-Pro-Video-Light-YN-160/dp/B004JJIBC2.

Initial impressions:
-Very light (plastic chassis construction).
-Very bright
-Love the dimmer (which doesn't seem to affect the colour temperature).
-Gels included.
-Barn doors included.

For Canon users you may want to look into the 320ex which has a built in LED video light.
