Hi! Anyone here have anything good or bad to say about Phottix gear? I'm looking into getting the grip for the 7D and a battery...or two.

Not that it's important right now but how their about wireless flash transceivers?

Thanks!

Well, their R-Strap clone stinks, literally. It has an odd smell.

But I do have their remote for the Canon T1i and that works well.

I use the Phottix Stratos wireless units.

Great quality in packaging and construction, like a real product!

My biggest problem is forgetting to turn the units off. I wish the LED light was in a more obvious spot.

Works great, I haven't tested long range, only in a very large banquet hall of 700 people and still kept firing.

I'm a bit hesitant with the 7D grip, its not weather sealed so its kind of like....what's the point.
