man, they are just taking a picture of what they are seeing through another lens? Ummm, isn't that like using your kit lens and then putting a pro 24-70 in FRONT of it, thinking it will be much better? Odd...

Looks like it's one of those DOF adapters they use for video, rejigged for iphone... gets you shallow depth of field on what would otherwise be practically infinite depth of field. The iphone is what, 2mp?? So it's not like it's meant to replace your dslr, it's just to get a dslr DOF "look". You could of course assemble one yourself for a fraction of what they're charging...

With those DOF adapters you can only shoot wide open on Canon, but you can stop down on those Nikon lenses with aperture dial. There is a workaround for Canon where you mount the lens on your DSLR, set the aperture in the body and hit DOF preview and then unmount while still pressing, but I find that really silly because why would you use your iphone when you've got your DSLR already to change the aperture?? lol
