Yup. Just before I went to sleep last night. Really surprised. Came out of nowhere.
I think it'll be good. Hoya never wanted the camera division of Pentax.
Ricoh is larger than Hoya, they are fully invested in the camera side of their business portfolio.
Awesome compacts with no DSLR's while Pentax has lackluster compacts and strong DSLR's. I think it would be good for both sides. Not sure what they would do with GXR and now Q though. Still I think it's good news for both Ricoh and Pentax.

Be interesting to see what they do with the 645D MF system.
