I will be buying T3i.

I rarely buy cameras since I don't need latest and greatest, rebels are perfectly fine for my needs, like the idea of swivel screen since I shoot odd angles, and control of the speedlite is a nice bonus. Don't need all the bs modes but they are expected in entry level amateur cameras.

A couple of the new lenses and the 320EX flash, also announced yesterday, are of slightly more interest to me.

I think the 320 may be a decent secondary flash, and the video light built in may be useful.

The same type of people who bought the Rebel XS (1000D) in the past two years. It's as entry-level as it's going to get.

the Wireless slave for off-camera TTL flash on 320EX is a tempting feature...

any idea how much these units costs? I wont be surprised if its on the above 400 bucks range... just thinking out loud... :)

Pre-order price for the 320EX is $249 USD, would guess about $269 or $279 CAD.

Looks like Canadian MSRP is $299, one Canadian store is taking pre-orders at $292.

Not that I'd buy Canon kit but where is it being sold for only ONE body part? Maybe I'm getting old and worthless but by my calculations it would cost me TWO body parts - an arm AND a leg.

Kidneys, liver and hearts may have more value than an arm and a leg.

If you give up your heart I don't think you'll be needing camera gear because you would be DEAD. :)
