I'm seeing several mixed reviews on how well this works so thought I'd ask here. Has anyone tried using this adapter with an Eye-Fi card?

If so, did it work reasonably well / or not? I know the Delkin adapter is type 2 and my D300 accepts that type of CF card.

The issue of how well it works is dependent on the CAMERA.

If the memory door and/or the CF to SD adapter has metal shielding, that reduces the signal from the EyeFi card.

I agree most of what I read is the shielding can drastically reduce the range of these cards.

There is a disclaimer on the Eye-Fi's site that said that there are known connectivity issues using a CF adapter with the Eye-Fi units.

I was searching and I stumbled into a site that says newer cards no longer work at all.

Interesting. I got some CF-SD adapters that you can remove the metal shielding from without destroying the card (not Delkin).

Having good luck using a battery operated router and and an app called Shuttersnitch with my D300 (not D300s) so far.

The Eyefi card is one of their X2 series, and yes, Eyefi recommends against doing this at all. I've read that X2 cards work better than the older cards using this approach, and so far, it's working for me.
