Hi all,

I had my camera sitting on a tripod last night with my baby daughter hanging around nearby. I turned my back for one second and missed her tipping over the tripod. The camera took a swing onto the floor, but appears to be fine. My 35mm lens, though, not so much. The focusing ring is now really stiff and the camera isn't strong enough to budge it.

This is a 35mm f2.8 Nikon lens. Is this kind of damage usually fixable? Where can I take the lens to have it repaired? Is Henry's a good choice, or are there smaller / cheaper places?

Thanks very much
Zvi

Sun Camera in Vaughan.

If this is the Nikon 35mm f/2.8 AiS, it's probably not worth the repair cost. Just buy a new one.
