I know this has been asked before about aftermarket grips here and there are other reviews/opinions on other forums.

But just wanted to get an opinion from our folks right here on TPMG who have bought/experienced an aftermarket grip that they are happy/unhappy with (specifically for the 5D mark II).

Apparently they are not same- some have battery communication issues etc.

Sterlingtek has been praised for good aftermarket products. Don't know about the 5Dm2 products I have two 5Dm1 batteries and a charger that's working as well as OEM.

Thanks, btw don't you need a grip too for your heavy *ahem* 85L? :)
