So I've been having an annoying issue with my original Canon 5D. From time to time when I turn on the camera, the option to change the date keeps popping up. You know.. the black screen where you set the date and time? Yeah, that keeps coming up when I turn on the camera. This happens maybe once a week. It's not much of a problem as it is an annoyance.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Is 5D has internal battery?
If so, it might be the issue with internal battery...

Ah, perhaps that might be the issue. Thanks. I will take a closer inspection tonight.

Sounds like my old laptop. Once the internal battery went I had to reset the clock every time I turned it on.
