I know the Canon Rumors site (www.canonrumors.com) is wrong 90% of the time, but this time they seem to have legit pictures of (one of) the next Canon dSLRs that should be announced soon; as it is the middle of August and most camera companies schedule their announcements between the end of August and the end of September (They like to have something to show off at Photokina every two years)

So it looks like Canon has joined the other manufacturers in having an articulating screen on an interchangeable lens camera (I honestly thought they would have done this much earlier) and there is some speculation that it is a touch screen because they moved/removed some buttons to get the screen hinge to work.

Anyone feel like speculating on features?
Where do you folks think this camera fits compared to the 7D? i.e. what features do they not include so it doesn't eat into 7D sales?

I'm guessing it'll have the same sensor as the 7 but be single Digic processing and thus a little slower than the 7. Slightly fewer focus points and probably not as robust either.

Now Canon Rumours is saying no magnesium body for the 60. Something else that will put it below the 7D.

The new Rebel will be FF, 150MP, with 200 AF points 8)
