Any camera stores similar to B&H in DC?

Going to DC for a few days starting tomorrow, just wondering if there are any camera stores there that have similar prices as B&H/Adorama.

Dunno but B&H and adorama shipping is pretty good.

Not really. Best store I found was Ace Photo, they are near Dulles Airport. Nice store to browse through. Their website: http://acephoto.net/Default.aspx

I dislike BH Photo's policy on international customers because they only ship to the same address as your credit card. Sometimes I want the loot to get shipped to my work so I can be around to collect it and pay taxes etc instead of trying to coordinate for someone to be around.

This same policy applies to many companies that ship product. Imagine how much they would be soaked by scammers if they shipped to alternate addresses.

Well maybe because I am a proven customer but I had Adorama ship to me all over. New Jersey, Florida, Left coast. I usually pay with paypal. And register the ship to address with them.

Photogs are a nomadic group of people by definition anyway.

I can see the problem with potential scammers but now that they allow Paypal payments, wouldn't they get some protection from Paypal and the plus side having a confirmed address to ship to? I've ordered stuff from different companies, some for work, some for personal use with my credit card and had it shipped to my work address without any issues.
