 Post subject: Where to sell my 350D??

I'm trying to sell my 350D.

Did anyone try selling a camera thats branded differently here in Canada? If so, what was your outcome?

I'm trying to figure out if I should waste some luggage space and sell it in Hong Kong, or should I just try to sell it here and risk getting lowballed :)

Just sell it as its equivalent name here (is that XTi?) and you'll be fine. Craigslist/kijiji is a good choice.

Sell as XT & explain why its 350D to the buyer when they come check it out? :twisted:

There are quite a few 350D on sale on kijiji right now & they don't look like they are getting anywhere despite getting a lot of views.

you won't get much for it anyways being such an old model

not that it's not a good camera.. I still use mine as a back-up to my 40D

but I don't sell it cause I'd be lucky if I got $200 for it :lol:

It's worth much more as backup than what you can get for it.

I need something to pay for my next camera ;)

But I guess I'll try my best to sell it here. If not, try to sell in HK....

If all else fails, I'll keep this as a back up & sell my left kidney to finance my next purchase!

I'm not too confident about your chances of selling it in HK than here. In fact, I think your chances may be slimmer... but worth a try anyway! Good luck.

My left kidney only worth the same as a 50D or a T2i!
