Hi,
maybe someone can help me out. I do need to rent a 400 to 600Watt flash head, Alienbee, Elinchrom.. or similar for next weekend. I tried Vistek but they do need a credit card or I have to pay the full price for the equipment.
Is there any other place where I can rent equipment? Or maybe does anyone have a flash laying around that I can rent for that weekend? I would pay for it of course.

It's very important and would help me a lot. I have pretty much everything lined up for the shooting. Would be bad if I have to cancel because of that.

you can also try filmplus or headshot.

Any rental house needs a credit card and a 500$ deposit. However you can get someone else's credit card and fax/scan them the form with the credit card holder's signature and it's fine. Just make sure you tell them that you'll pay the balance yourself, not to take it off the credit card.

Headshots is the best from my experience. Go speedotron for a cheap kit.
