Best new feature is that you can backup on leaving lightroom instead of waiting a few minutes on start up. I mustn't have been the only person that complained.

The remark in the article of the noise reduction not working
on a photo taken at "ISO 12,800" well duh what did he expect at ISO 12,800 the in camera algorithms have already reduced the noise as far as possible. I would like to see what it could do for my old XT at ISO 1600 as compared to noise ninja or equivalent as in camera noise reduction was very primitive at the time.

Having dabbled with the earlier v2.0 of lightroom, and not been happy with some of it's quirks, I'm quite impressed at early glances with the beta.

The smart collections are great for helping me sort my photos by lens, specifically cheating to help me identify the 3rd party lenses that lightroom misidentifies on account of lens ID. (I know this has been available to some extent since v2.5).

Add me to the list that wants to be able to do a smart collection based on focal length, or any piece of exif info (lens max aperture, anyone?)
