Well, you can decide for yourself. I think Rob's site and a few others have samples posted.

Here are 3 files. All have exif intact. There was no editing done to them(not even sharpening). straight out of the camera RAW converted to jpeg in LR. 5DII with original firmware..still:oops:


ISO800

There looks to be some noise reduction here... because it definitely looks smeared.

I don't know if people consider the exposure time in these comparisons. The longer the exposure, more the noise.

So... hard to compare unless we are dealing with the same exposure parameters. Also, difficult to make a conclusion on just a couple of photos.
