Hello,

I hope there is someone out there that is not using their Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 this friday. There was a change in a wedding I'm shooting and I won't have time to go and rent the lens.

I hope to be able to pick it up after I finish work tonight or tomorrow evening. and I'll give it back Saturday morning. I'm all the way in Scarborough near Sheppard and Markham Rd.

PM me for my contact info and when you're available.

Headshots requires $500, but I only have $100 at this time. I wasn't prepared as the wedding was for the 18th and I just found out yesterday it was changed to this friday.

of course, you can leave your CC with the person just in case... 8)

No one is going to rent you a $2k lens for only $100 deposit...I believe.

I suppose not... I was just wondering. (I've had problems before when companies, mainly hotels, pre-authorize on my credit cards and end up double billing me and not refunding me).

I can try toget away with just my camera's kit lenses.

I've edited the subject for you.

I've rented a lens from Headshots and know quite a few others that have also, and never heard of an issue where the credit card was billed the $500 or whatever the deposit was. When you return the lens, if I recall correctly, you also get that deposit slip back which you can then rip up and discard.
