My shipping notice was sent on March 15, and it showed up the next day. Except UPS, being retards, said I wasn't home. I was waiting at home and I have a concierge downstairs who can sign and pay for stuff, or at least call up to see if I'm around. Anyway, I ask the concierge to physically restrain the UPS driver the next day, until he gave up the packages. :)

I haven't had a chance to use them yet, but I did an endurance test on one of the packs, and was able to get 754 full-power pops out of an AB800!

I setup the intervalometer for 10 seconds between shots, so 7540 seconds. This took place while I was out having lunch. :D I tried running the same test with my other VML, but the batteries in the radio triggers died before the VML did!

yup, UPS gave me a delivery attempt notice. Now i have to go to Concord to pick it up of course. And i thought UPS Worldwide saver means i dont pay brokerage, but UPS charged it anyway. Weird.

That's what it says on the InfoNotice, but it turns out to be GST, which is expected. Another person who received her UPS delivery the same day had a $30 COD on hers (one VML), while mine was about $85 (two VMLs, two spare batteries). I guess there's no line on the notice for "tax", so they just file it under "brokerage COD".

Naw, it wouldn't be PCB's fault anyway... complain to UPS! But Worldwide Saver is pretty good: left Nashville one day, arrives here the next day, including transport and customs clearance. Now if only they would stop employing ninjas as drivers!
